Stella Tennant and Isabella Cawdor, the creative directors of Holland & Holland travelled to Cordoba in central Argentina to shoot the new Spring Summer collection with photographer Jamie Hawkesworth and art director, Ronnie Cooke Newhouse of House and Holme. The multi-hued light, expansive vistas reaching out to the foothills of the Sierra Chicas offered rich inspiration.
“Holland & Holland is about travelling, outdoor sports and exploring,” says Tennant of the brand that was founded in 1835. “We stayed on a working estancia and began shooting the imagery, rising at 4.30 am to capture the sunrise and starting up again before sunset. During the day we were out riding, reading and swimming,” she adds. “The warmth, the sunshine, the dust, the light rain, the cooler evenings in such remoteness was breathtaking,” says Cawdor who like Tennant first visited the country in her twenties.
